When will my rouen ducks start to lay?

This will be the first spring I have had them. I got them in the late fall. I was jsut wonderring when I can expect them to start to lay. I believe they are all between 1 and 2 years old. I want to be sure to get there pen moved over so they have access to the creek and pond for mateing so the eggs will be fertile. Does anyone know??? thanks so much! JEN

They should be laying anytime now.I raised a few rouen's in the last few years.They will basicly mate on land as well like most duck's I have had.As far as i know geese usualy need water to mate as We watched our Toulouse last year.Spring is coming so the egg's will be here soon.

I am really wanting Rouens. What are your thoughts on them? I will be a first time duck owner and am trying to find some. I only want 5 so I can't seem to find a hatchery selling less than 10. My local TSC i getting ducklings in next week but I dobt there will be any Rouens. Any ideas on where I can get only 5? I'd like to have 1 male to 4 females.

I found mine from someone on here and locally. I now have 3 pairs. I hope they will have babies for me this spring. I cant wait. JEN
