When will my silkie start to lay?

When do silkies usually start to lay? I've heard it takes longer than for most breeds, I'm just curious what to expect. I am raising two silkies that are currently 3 months old, and I'm pretty sure one of them is a pullet. How much longer should I expect to wait?

Most start at around 7-9 months.

Yes, mine started laying around a month ago during the same week and they were both 8.5 months old.
