I have 2 broody hens and a Mama whom hatched out 9 babies a little over a week ago, I was wondering when canI expect her to start laying again?

When shes ready, that can vary depending on the hen.
Most of my hens after hatching chicks will raise the chicks up to about 6 weeks. Then there laying and ready to give up the chicks.

Yep, when she does. It may be a week, it may be a month. Generally, they begin again within about a week.

There is also some seasonality to this. This time of year they may be a little slower to re-commence, and the molt is not far off. Depending on how long it has been since the hen herself was hatched, that could play a factor. THey are regulated by internal clocks that are not ours.

Be patient.

I left my Mother Hen with the chicks for about 4 weeks. Then I put her OUT of the brooding area. She "fretted" about the fence for about 3 or 4 days. She began laying eggs again about a week after that. She is a Buff Orpington.

My Buff Orp hen went broody this spring and she started laying again when the chicks were 6 or 7 weeks old. Several days after she started laying she rejected them and went back to be with the big girls...
