when will she start layin'???

i have a RIR. shes 4 months and 2weeks old.
when will she start laying??

I have RIR's the first to start laying was at 17 weeks my last to start laying was at 27 weeks. Hang in there.

My first Rhodie started laying at 19 weeks 3 days. Two others started a couple days later, and it took about about 6 weeks until all 10 started laying.

Just remember that these are guidlines. Each hen lays when she's ready.

Although when they turned 19 weeks I did start chanting different ways of cooking chicken everytime I checked on them. Not saying it helped any!
