when will their voices change?

my little flock is now 8 weeks old...2 of them are making noises like big girl chickens, but the rest are still "peeping" (although my Roo tries to crow sometimes but he sounds more like an asthmatic dog who swallowed a squeaky toy). I was just wondering so they typically loose their "peep" noise?

Id say it depends on breed a little but mine started when she was about 10-12 weeks. It's funny cause it slips out between peeps!
