When will they lay eggs?

i have a white crested black polish and a salmon faverolle who haven't laid any eggs yet, the faverolles pelvic bone feels like she is, but haven't seen her in the nest box, the polish has a small vent and pelvic bones feel close together, they turned six months in mid December, all the other hens I got with them started laying a few weeks ago. Also I have been finding an egg randomly setting out in the run. What is that?

I Was plaNing on using them for breeding purposes

Eggs in run is probably faverolles.
Put some fake eggs or golf balls in the nests, that might entice her to lay there.
New layers lack control so to speak, it can take up to a month or so for them to get it all figured out.
