When will they lay??

I just got 2- 1yo hens... buff orpington and RIR.... they were kind of stressed about the move (the guy I bought them from had a flood in his yard and seriously lost like 20 birds

so they are a bit in distress). How long will it take for them to settle into a new environment and lay again?

If they are young and not in molt, they should lay within 10 days. Give them a little extra protein to encourage them.
