I have two Ameraucana hens who are a little over five months old. I was told they would begin to lay in September but they haven't laid any eggs yet. The weather has been colder so I was wondering if that would affect their laying patterns? I also have a Plymouth Barred Rock and a Black Sex-Link, who are both four months old. I don't expect them to lay for at least another month, but what time can I begin to expect eggs from them? Thank you in advance. :)

Your Ameraucanas should start laying soon, as chickens usually start laying at about 5-6 months old. However, because daylight hours are decreasing due to winter, they may wait until spring to start laying. The same may be true for your Barred Rock and Black Sex-Link.
