yesterday turned into a true nightmare my sons bus was unable to get him home the roads were unpassable due to flooding. When his bus was over 20 minutes late i called to ask where he was and he was at school waiting for someone to get him. There was no phone call from them and this is an issue i need to address with them when school is open again. Hub had to go get him and it took him a couple hours to reach him he had to keep turning around and finding another way. Once they were home I was informed there are many roads washed out. Today all the kids are home. school is closed we can breathe a sigh of releif we are all home together and we have not had our home flooded out. the chickens floor in their coop is soaked but hopefully tomorrow we will get a break and i can let them out and air it out to clean and dry.
My oldest sisters inlaws lost their home in the flooding and also their chickens and dog so sad they are elderly and are devastated.
