So I went out to do my morning check on the ladies. Gave them their favorite treat - blueberries. Called out my "chick, chick, chick, chick" and only got a few takers. Which was strange. So I went into the coop and found this! LOL! I pulled the green egg out from under Hawkeye, but apparently Flash didn't want to wait for her favorite roosting place, so she just wedged her way in and laid her egg right there leaning on Hawkeye! I told you in my post yesterday she was an opinionated woman! I wasn't kidding...LOL!

They can be so funny. When one of my Buffs was first starting to lay, I found her trying to squeeze into a 12x12 nest box that already had two Australorps in it. Needless to say, it was quite a circus.
I Guess it’s like when us women go to the public restroom in groups. Maybe they just don’t want to lay eggs alone 😂🤣
