What quantity are you most likely to buy?

I have seen on Ebay that some people sell as few as 3 and some sell as many as a dozen. I know I would prefer to buy a dozen, just wondering how everyone else feels.

I would never buy 3. I think they put those auctions up just for the people who use those little incubators that only hold 3 eggs.
I usually go for 6 or more. It depends. If it's a new breed I want to 'try' I'll go with a smaller amount. If it's one of my main breeds I'll go with a dozen or more.

I dont have very good luck with shipped eggs. All my great hatches comes from my own eggs.

It is true, the more you buy the better luck you will have. I have had only two hatch out of 8-12 eggs before.

I would never buy less than "12+". For my own little test to determine feasibility, I assume a 25% hatch rate on shipped eggs.

Are those peeps gonna be worth $20 each? Maybe.

With some eggs, I usually buy from 6 to 12.
But the larger ones, like goose eggs, three or four generally.

Yes, that's my thoughts, also. BUTTT.... I have ordered 4 dozen eggs and only gotten 5 to hatch before. It's just the luck of the draw. Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose.

That makes sense and you can often get 2 dozen shipped for the same flat rate as 1 dozen.
