i always ask this each year and i know i know the answer but it always makes me whan to reasure my self. my girls and some unwhanted boys should start laying at 21 weeks. also they are 19 weeks starting to red en in the face (more in the wayandots )but also last year i had roos crowing at 11 weeks

roosters are supposed to start crowing at 6-8 weeks. if you want to test it drop a hat in the middle of the group. roos will go investigate once they are a few weeks old. the girls will start laying around twenty weeks, give or take a few.
