Is it too late in the year to raise Ducks and Geese for meat?

If not-- other than Murrays, where could I order from?? (Murrays is sold out of all the breeds we wanted!)

I don't think it is ever the wrong time of season to raise waterfowl for meat. As long as you keep them warm when they are young, I wouldn't believe it matters. It is those Cornish Cross you have to be careful with because they stress from heat so easy. Although, I could be wrong, I do not have much experience with waterfowl.

As for where to acquire birds this time of year. I wouldn't know. You could try local sales and breeders. Wish I could help more in this area.
