Hey,
We got 5 loveable fluff balls on the 5th of May. They all turned out to be hens, yay!
They are six and a half months old and haven't started laying yet. They are in an A frame ark with no
artificial light or heat, (Alabama in November isn't that cold yet) have been eating layer mash for the last
month at least.
I've put golf balls in the nest boxes and all they do is play indoor chicken soccer with them.
Is it going to be Spring before they start laying now, since the days are so short?
I would appreciate any comments!
