Where can I buy California quail?

I live in Seattle and I'd like to try raising either California or Gambel quail (maybe they're the same?) but don't know where to buy them. I'd be up for getting some hatching eggs as I would likely have to pay less and get less birds that way. I would only want four or five total so I'd need to re-home some of them if I got a dozen hatching eggs.

Also, do you think a Silky would be able to incubate quail eggs properly?

it is possible you will not get 100% hatch rate huh? I would hate to just put a dozen eggs in the bator LOL

Hi, California and Gambels quail are two different species. I will have both CA and Gambels available soon. You could hatch them with a silky, but like some on here have said, quail are susceptible to disease organisms that chickens have an immunity to. I think it's all the way around safer to hatch 'em in an incubator
