we only have a hen and a rooster and the rooster is ruining the hens feather. I know I have to buy more adult hens but my hen is only so little compare to the other hens. I need to know where I can buy old English game hens. In texas

Can I suggest you look thru, or post your request on the Texas State thread. This way you will be in contact with peeps in your area. Yes, Texas is a big state, but there are many posting there from all points in Texas. There are the Nationwide Hatcheries that you can find what you want in Day old chicks. Usually the quantities are 25 minimum. (especially in cool weather shipping)

I come across Old English Bantams at my feed store in springtime. Maybe check some of those near you, and ask what they will be getting in. Some feed stores can actually order certain chicks specifically for you. This way you would not need to get the large quantity. When store gets their delivery, they can notify you to come for them.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and :welcome

I got quite a few OEGB from TSC Bantam bin last spring. Red Pyle, lavender and silver duckwing OEGB along with other bantams. I believe they only sell unsexed bantams, so that would make a bigger mess if you can't sell (or prossess or make a Batchelor coop) the extra cockerels.

I'm sure many hatcherys have some OEGB chicks, so you could try online. You could also try local Facebook chicken groups, they could possibly have some adults.

That roo looks like a sebright to me, he is correct? The look and the saddle feathers definitely looks very sebright. Unlike most breeds Sebright roosters have rounded female like saddle feathers.
