Where can I find a female silkie near me? I have a few homesteading groups on fb but no one seems to have one. I have searched on cl. I only found one but it's a rooster and I already have a rooster so I just want a silkie hen. Please help.

You can try posting in your State thread, list of links here:

You can put up an ad on Craigslist saying something like "In search of Silkie hen", or "Silkie hen/pullet wanted".

You can order chicks from a hatchery, but hatcheries do not sex bantams like silkies and they would also come as chicks (in most cases), so these would be 2 negatives of using that route. You could try purchasing "started pullets" online, but I don't know of any hatcheries that currently offer started silkie pullets.
