Where can I get some Ameraucana

I would like to get a few Ameraucana hens. I am in central Ontario.

First off, Welcome to BYC.

I'd look at the Ameraucana Breeder's club website first. Other than than you may need to find someone in upstate NY and take trip for some chicks or hatching eggs!

Unless you're into smuggling, getting birds over the border is an expensive and lengthly process. You'll have to find someone up there with them. Even hatching eggs can't be sent over without the same insane procedure.

If you live in Canada, you will have to buy birds from there. Unless you go thru the red tape that is involved in bring eggs and/or chicks across the Country boarder. As someone already said it is against the law to smuggle eggs/or chicks from USA to Canada.
You best bet is to find someone up there who has birds.
