If you need arguements in favor of Seramas, tell the powers that be that I have 34 birds in my house/garage, and my neighbor asked me the other day "do you still have your chickens?" Now that's quiet! I also have one living in the house until she recovers from frostbite. Sometimes we cuddle under the blankets in bed, and sometimes she stations herself beside the cat food for company.

If you want chicks, you should look locally, as they don't ship in the mail very well. Adult birds should arrive okay.

this
is a list of SCNA members. It is incomplete, as my name isn't on it, and it may not be the only one ommitted. It seems that Sadra Vaughn and Marilyn Pikal are the only ones listed in MN. It's up to you to find them, as I don't know them myself. There are several BYC members who will ship birds, and there are always some listed on eggbid. Eggs would be the easiest to ship, and if you don't incubate, you could post a Craigslist ad asking someone to do it for you. Good luck!
