Where can I order food grade DE?

The Mill here is one hour away. The last time I talked to the guy who sells for them they did not have PermaGuard.

food grade.. meaning the fossil shell? The one you feed the birds? Can you also use that in the pen as well?

Just ordered some food-grade DE yesterday from Safe Solutions-- it was $16.95 for 2 pounds, shipping priority mail was $5.20 ( company is in Michigan and so am I )

I just bought 50 lbs of Perma Guard food grade DE from this place:

It was $27.50 for 50 lbs but the shipping was $33.13! Some other places that I looked at had even higher prices and higher shipping costs.

I know that it worked wonders on getting rid of mites in the hen house. I have wild birds that eat from the chickens feeders and dust themselves in the hens dusting holes. I assume that that is where the mite infestation came from. The great thing about DE is that now when the wild birds dust themselves they are also getting the DE in the dust holes which will cut down on my hens getting them again.
