I have two chickens and one duck right now (Looks like I might be picking up his friend today! So two ducks) and my coop that came was a large one. I had it made by a neighbor. I wanted enough room my duck (or 2) would have room since they don't roost.

He made it very large just like I wanted. So much room for the two hens to roost and even be on the ground if they wanted with the duck (or 2). I was curious though... should I just put some straw in the corner of the coop for the ducks to sleep? Or should I put a nesting box in there just for the duck? or should I not worry about it as there is a nesting box / egg box hooked onto my coop that has 4 nesting places in it and we only have 2 hens so at least 3 to 2 will be open all the time, that the ducks could snuggle into? (they are nice and roomy too).

I don't know what breed your ducks are but if not Muscovy they will be very happy on the floor so give them some straw or shavings and they will be happy campers. just not under the chicken roost.
