I have been given my chicks 1/4 tsp of Tylosin in a quart water jar for three days. It really helped a couple of them but one specifically still shacks here head when she starts to fall asleep a lot. I listen to her breath and I can hear popping in her lungs. I can also hear it in the other birds but not as bad. How long should this take?

The dose for a chicken is 50 mg per pound per day. Turkey dose is 60 mg per pound per day.

If you are giving Tylan Soluble powder or Tylovet powder then that's should be a good dose, but Tylan and Tylovet are 1000 mg per gram, so one would have to use 5 times as much when using the 200 mg per gram stuff.
