Where did the frizzle gene come from?

I am wondering where the frizzle gene was first found. Thank you!

The origin of the Frizzle is unknown.
The frizzle gene is thought to have originated in Asia;[8]: 137  frizzled chickens have been reported from the Far East since the eighteenth century.[6] The Frizzle breed is the result of selective breeding for exhibition.[6][9]: 102  It is recognised in nine European countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.[4][1]

I have a question if frazzles hens and rooster if i breed smooth and frazzle , all chick would be frizzle, because frazzle has 2 frizzle gene , please if somebody know let me know

I believe so, because the frizzle gene seems to be a dominant gene like curly hair in a way.

Yes, however, two copies of the frizzle gene is bad! It causes feathers to be extremely fragile, which results in breaking and a reduced ability to insulate against both heat and cold. It can mean the bird is more prone to sunburn. It frequently causes an enlarged heart and metabolic changes, which can result in failure to thrive and early death from heart disease. Its bad enough that none of the major hatcheries will breed frizzle to frizzle, even though that means customers only have a 50% chance of getting frizzled chicks.
