One of my cochin/EE mixes has ear tufts? Boy or girl ?

That chick does not have ear tufts. Those are muffs and a crest. It's possible that the parents are mixes. Looks like a pullet at this point, but it's a little young to tell.

Its a (dad) Silkie-ameraucana-cochin+ (mom)bantam cochin mix.none of the others I hatched from them had the fluff sticking out like that and I have hatched a bunch of them.I was thinking girl too, I have a few from the same bunch that have obvious combs. They are around 7-8 weeks old.
All my cochin mixes tend to end up with crests. So that wasn't a surprise.
