Where do eggs come from?

Don't feel bad Hatrick. At least you know which end the egg comes out of. A friend of mine was absolutely shocked and sickened when I explained that the egg comes out the chickens rear. It's a long story but I guess she thought that chickens just cough a few times and up comes an egg
