Where do I buy valbazen?

I would like to purchase some Valbazen. Someone mentioned putting some on the skin of the chicken, is that a different kind? I need an education on chicken meds and it seems everyone have their own ideas. I talked to a vet and he suggested using Ivemectin but I have no idea how to administer it. I bought the liquid, not the paste.

i used to use it on my goats. I have no idea how to use it for chickens or if you even should. You ought to be able to get it at the local livestock supply. If not you can get it mail ordr from Jeffers or Omaha Vaccine.

I use valbazen and I get it at the local livestock supply store it works great you use 1/2 cc for bantams and 1/4 cc for large chickens and put it down there throat using a syrenge without the needle (careful not to get it in the windpipe) and repeat in 10 days and you will be worm free

Thanks for the info..I have 2 sick Bantams..no one else..so I am trying everything..including having them in the house during our cold weather. They seem to be perking up after giving them .05cc of Ivemectin. I had already started them both on antibiotics given to me from another chicken lover. This is not like people medicine! lots of guess work. They eat fine, just gasping occasionally, and sneezing and shaking their heads. Last night I noticed a small amount of blood coming out of the hens nose. The Roo's comb was almost colorless and even black, but he did just get his tail wooped from another rooster I have. Now his color is coming back. This is my first time around so I am trying to figure out a game plan, and a check list of things to help me identify when there are problems. Everyone else is healthy. I have 5 seperate pens with 6 in three if them and 3 BAntams in the other 2. They don't socialize well so I have always kept them seperate.
