Where do I get my chicks

Hey everyone I need some help finding some baby chicks. I would like to buy locally but not sure where to look. Any suggestions would be great. Also if there are not any local places what are some good hatcheries to buy from that don't have outrageous shipping fees. I'm only looking for 5 chicks max. Thanks so much

Try looking on something like craigslist or another local classified AD website. That's what I did for my Silkies. Most of the chicks around where I live only cost $3 to $5. Should be the same for you.

Our Tractor Supply stores are hosting monthly swaps, locally owned farm stores are still selling chicks and local Facebook groups are sharing info about swap meets. You can try all those for your area.
