Where do I put my sons chicks?

My son currently has 5 hens about 2 years old still laying about 28 - 35 eggs per week. He now has 14 chicks that need to be moved. He is out of town so it becomes my problem. Is is possible to put the chicks in with the old hens?

The chicks are crowded in the brooder. I just had to remove two because they were getting pecked (bloody backs).

How old are they?

They must be about 8 weeks old. full feathers and such. About the size of a Bantam but they are all sorts for breeds.
