Where do i sell my eggs??

I have 2 lefhorn hens and 6 rhode island reds they have been laying eggs like crazy and we can only eat but so many. I was wondering where can I sell them?

Start with family, friends and neighbors. If there's any traffic on your street, you can put a sign out. State a specific time youare available so they aren't coming up the driveway at all hours. CL is always an option too.

I agree with Donrae: I've given some away. Lately, I take them to church. There's a table in the front foyer where I set them, and often, I can't even set them down before someone is waving money in my face and grabbing a box. It helps that I've advertised that egg proceeds are going to fund a mission trip to Guatemala. A lot of folks are now hooked on my eggs. After the trip, egg proceeds will once again be used to fund the chicken feed!

Yep! I have more potential customers than I do eggs at the moment - my regulars have all come to me through existing connections either through our social lives or working with myself or my DH. Word gets around pretty fast.

Our feed store, a small family business, will buy our eggs and resell at a slight profit. Great for when we have a a few extra dozen but don't have enough regularly for regular customers.
