where do roosters go?

Most people would rehome or send them to freezer camp. I have a bachelor colony that I keep that consists of about 20 roosters. All are good natured and docile. The roos that are with my hens now are pure Delawares to go with my Del hens. I do have 3 bantam cochin roos that I keep close to the house - they roost under the carport - but those are my spoiled boys

I have sold roos on CL that I didn't ask what their outcome was going to be, but pretty sure they were guests of honor at a future dinner...

You're lucky. Mine starts at 3-4. The latest was like 5:20.

That was the only good thing about my roo! He started crowing very late... I should have had "the talk" with mine...
