Ok, I have come to a conclusion of what I want to do for pens-I my dad would make it for me now. I have a coop made of pine privacy fence, and it has a floor and a roof. Then I have a cubed run outside of it that is about 10x8 feet (Not that big, never plnne on having an more than 6 hens, lol) And It faces parallel to the house. On the backside of it i plan on making two pens, built up gainst the side of the coop. each will be like a long rectangle, side by side. It will have a small roof and a roosting pole, and one nest box. Pretty simple, huh? I can put a rooster and about four to five hens in each. there will be a door on the side of the first one, and then a door in the dividing wall, so that if one pen is empty, I can go open the door for a bigger run.
