I've been thinking of getting into coturnix eggs, but what's the best route to take when looking to sell them? Also, how much space would they require if there were only three or four? If it comes down to me making an enclosure outside, what should the dimensions be? I'm thinking of hatching my own and raising them, but I'd like a place to sell them once their adults.
Thanks!

Most people say, 1 square foot per bird, but I wouldn't recommend that at all. I like to give mine as much space as possible. For example, I keep five quails in a large aviary (about 30 square feet), but this isn't always possible. For an absolute minimum, I would say 2 square feet per bird, but It's really up to you on how much space you give them. Hope this helps :)

I have an ad on Facebook for my eggs. When I have a lot of extra birds I put an ad out on craigslist as well. I also have a FB page and a web page.
I've seen Facebook ads in my area, is that a popular place to sell? How often do people buy from you when you put out an ad?

One of the things I like about the FB ad is that it stays up. I get 4-5 inquiries a week and that usually ends up being 1-2 sales/week. I'm really small time, though. When I put a craigslist ad up, it's for birds, and the hens go almost immediately while the roos... don't.

My website is still under construction, but I have gotten one sale from that.

Thanks! I wasn't really sure how many sales came from fb ads, so that helps!
