I 'am new at the incubator hatching. My DH said I could not put it in the house. So I plan on setting it up in a shed.it does heat up in their.but we do have a ceiling fan and I can open the windows.
thanks.

Mine are in a basement that has a very stable temperature and humidity. Depending on the incubator you have, you may have issues with it maintaining the set temperature, if the room like a shed has an unstable temperature over a 24 hour period. Most incubators work best with a 70-80 F room tempertaure.

I have a basement.but that's my DH so call man cave.he said the incubator will stink up the house.

Last batch I had in my basement. They didn't hatch at all. Current hatch I have in my laundry room. Whether they hatch there or not remains to be seen. After my last batch, I scoped out a couple of spots and found my laundry room had the most stable temp. and humidity.

Thanks for the idea.i do have a very small laundry room.its also in the basement.
