Where do you wish you lived?

Does it count if my perfect location probably doesn't exist?
I want:
- Strong ocean breezes like we get on the east coast of FL, not the west.
- Huge ancient canopy trees like the live oaks we have in central FL, or Banyan trees, or a species with a similar feel.
- Regular rain and tropical storms.
- Agricultural zoning for horses and chickens and peafowl, close enough to the water to get most of those breezes.
- Warm enough to grow my Bougainvillea, Plumeria, Vanilla, Gingers, etc. outside year-round instead of bringing them in the house.
- Few people and little noise. Unless it's happy noise. But solitude for sure.
- To not be taking anything from anyone by living there (aka Hawaii).
- Publix supermarket for their un-salty shaved roast beef. And Ciabatta bread.

Lived in Maine where it's a different kind of cold, yes it is different, COLDER! Also lived in South Carolina on Hilton Head Island, temp 98, humidity 98 ocean temp 98. now back in NJ deep in the Pine Barrens where there are 4 seasons and the closest neighbor is a 1/4 mile away. I think I'll stay put.

Somewhere warm! I don’t mind having 4 seasons, but I’m sick of frigid northeast winters! Chances of snow from October - May, we’re only safe 4 months of the year!
Ok, I may be a tad bit dramatic 🤏 but I’m seriously sick of winter 😂 (and those really are the actual “snow months”
Just somewhere with shorter winters and lower overall humidity levels would be nice.

I’d love to live somewhere semi-rural, to have a few acres to myself with no neighbors, but still be within a reasonable proximity of the nearest city. And have all of the stores I go to be in the same city 😅 - TSC or Rural King, a small feed store, Walmart, HobbyLobby or Joanne’s, Lowe’s, and a decent restaurant or two. Or maybe just a mall 🤔😂

-born and raised in Texas. -lots to love, here! Looking forward to retirement, however, a move may be in order. -older I get, the less I tolerate the summers and heat. Colorado mountains are the home away from home - vacation spot of choice (not permanent residence, though) Acreage in Maine is on the future radar. -love the cold weather and all things outdoors.........the heat, not so much.

Texas and Colorado for the win!!! ❤️
