I finally got my hands on a guinea trio and have high hopes of trying to hatch out some keets this year. Right now I keep them in the coop with my chickens. They haven't started laying yet. Will they lay in the nesting boxes or do I have to create some sort of nesting area for them?

It depends on the Guinea Hen, some Guinea Hens will willingly use/share the nesting boxes (even squeeze into one with a chicken, lol), but some Guinea Hens prefer to nest/lay in a depression that they'll hollow out in the bedding on the floor of the coop or on ground of the pen, in a private area. Sometimes with my cooped/penned flocks they'll just lay where ever and if I don't collect eggs a few times a day the eggs end up scattered around the coop/pen

Most of the ones I've had usually lay in the corner of the shed or underneath my chicken nest.
