I currently have around 20 Belgian d'Uccle bantams. I believe four hens are 'mille fleur', four are 'citron', three are 'butterscotch', three are 'self blue', and I think two or three are 'porcelain'. The problem I have is that many of my girls are getting older, and I have no cockerelles. I would like to be abe to breed my hens as many of them are beautiful birds. The breeder I got my chicks from a few years ago is no longer available. Does anyone know where I can get some more d'Uccle bantams that are true to color and breed characteristics? I am interested in mostly the 'citron', 'mille fleur', and the 'butterscotch' color. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought some hatching eggs from Melissa Hudalla from TN. They hatched well and the birds are beautiful. They're also the friendliest chickens in my flock, they actually jump on my shoulder when I go in the pen. She has blue mottled, black mottled, lavender, porcelain, and mille fleur. Her e-bay name is 123muki, and she is usually running an auction. Very fair and easy to deal with as well. Good luck!

I found the seller on ebay. It is actually 1234muki but I found it, so thanks. However it seems she only has assorted colors, not specific colors. I am more interested in specific colors, mostly the 'citron'citron, and 'mille fleur' colors. But hey I could buy a dozen hatching eggs, hatch them out, keep the colors I want and give the rest away on BYC!

I tried to find Mille fleur chicks or eggs earlier. I posted to the D'Uccles thread and got zero response. I posted a wtb on the want to buy thread and got several! I strongly recommend trying that! There is another bycer who sells Mille fleur D'Uccles on eBay and hers are gorgeous! Good luck! I'm waiting for my eggs to arrive in the mail. They were supposed to be here today but fate, oe the post office, has delayed their arrival!
