It looks like you have a similar situation to ours. For our solution, we chose the garage. Two things to be aware of/watch out for are odor and pests. Wherever you keep them will start to smell different! Keep their area clean and refreshed as much as possible to help combat those two things. Chicks are messy eaters and both roaches and rodents are highly attracted to chick feed.

Will you park a car in the garage while the chicks are in the garage? Car fumes would have to be aired out before closing the door.
