Where should my soon-to-be mama duck be?

Our Muscovy just started laying her first eggs and I want to let her hatch them herself. Do I keep her in the same coop or move her to her own private brooding area?

I have moved many broody chicken hens, but have never successfully moved a broody duck. Make sure that her nest site is predator proof and allow her to set where she is laying. In my experience ducks are very imprinted on their chosen nest site.

ok, thanks sourland, I will do that. So, the chickens shouldn't give babies a hard time once they hatch? Mama will protect them well enough?
