Where to begin?

I stumbled upon your site b/c my dad gifted my kiddos with 2 guinea keets. Unfortunately, it violates our city ordinance in Blue Springs, MO to keep chickens, etc. I saw that another person had posted re: changing the ordinances in my area and wondered how to even go about it. Just about every surrounding city allows chickens - I'd love to be able to maintain a small coop.

Welcome to the site! I live in the country and thankfully don't have to worry about such stupid "rules" but a town near me was considering allowing people to keep a small flock but I don't think it's going to pass. The person who started it went around asking people to sign a petition. Good luck!
