I love my 5 roos, but cannot keep them. I have tried the local farm, but they hated it there from aggressive roos. I need to find a loving home for them. And please don't suggest making them into chicken pot pie because that's not happening.

They are all very sweet and 4 months old.
(not to mention they are some of the most stunning rooters i have ever seen)

Craigslist and charge something for them, like 10 bucks or something so they are more likely to be bought for a pet....don't give them away for free cause they will end up dinner

Roosters can be very hard to find homes for. Unless they are something special, it may take a while to find an ideal home where they won't be used for the dinner table. You may have to keep all five longer than you'd like. I do agree that you should charge a fee for them. When you advertise, play up each roo's good points and include photos.

Thank you, they aren't pure breeds (i dont think), but one of them is barred, one of the is entirely white, and the other three have beautiful patterns. I can't seem to get pics on?? I live near Boston MA. But ill keep trying. It is a pain in the but having roosters..... I will never hatch again, just order pullets

hmm well if you get desperate and would be ok with someone else eating them, I'd take them myself. I'm close enough to go get them.

About the only thing you can do is build them a bachelor pen and hope that they will peacefully coexist. It may or may not happen as they mature. For your peace of mind, please don't raise any more chicks. 50% + will be roosters. Also be aware that when buying sexed chicks as many as 10% may be roosters.

well they ARE going to die...at some point, I understand what you mean though..

Just keep in mind a lot of people won't be so honest as I am with their intentions you could be giving them to a "good" home that turns out to be a cock fighting ring or just them getting slaughtered...If you ever are desperate enough my family appreciates free birds:)

BTW, how do you even get away with having so many roosters so close to Boston?? I figured the neighbors would be up in arms about it.
