Where To Buy Chicks in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada

Hello All: Does anyone know where to buy baby chicks, or even laying hens locally in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada? I am interested in cold hardy breeds and only want 3 or 4 since I am a novice.

Any advice or information will be appreciated.

I'm wondering the same thing. Also wondering if there are any by-laws prohibiting keeping a couple chickens in a yard in the city???????

I got some White Rocks and Red Sex Link hens at the Co-Op AG place in Echo Bay. Hope that helps.

Dunno what the zoning laws are though.

csibb here in BYC has some gorgeous Delawares. She's in Sault Saint Marie. I'm not sure if she sells chicks, but you can always ask. I've got hatching eggs from her before. If you do a search for her, you'll find one of her posts in the Michigan thread with her phone number.
