Where to find ex- battery hens??

Hi, it’s me Kayla again!
After watching a video that @Brahma Chicken5000 shared...
I was wondering where I could find ex battery hens. I want to help the poor hens have a better quality of life, and be able to be happy hens once again. I really want to help make a difference, where do I get these hens?
Thanks!

Here are a few more I believe in the U.S. from previous BYC post.
I do know there are chicken rescue groups -- try these:

Animal Place
Chicken Run Rescue
Eastern Shore Sanctuary and Education Center
Farm Sanctuary
Sunny Skies Bird and Animal Sanctuary
United Poultry Concerns

So I found an auction in Goodwater, Alabama (much closer to me). They do chicken/chicks/small animals at 7 p.m. every Friday... I’ll check there and see what I can find!

Let us know what you do and how it went. Was thinking to get two myself to add to flock.

In my state you see ex layers on craigslist. Brown eggs are the market here so will be large flock of red sex links, free or a dollar per bird. It's easy to tell which birds are coming from egg company. They don't use battery term.

Thank you!!

I found these on Craigslist, the feathers look terrible!

So it’s auction VS craigslist? I think I’ll go to the auction first and then check back with Craigslist! :)
