Where to get alot of eggs?

I've got spoke with a business and they said they would buy all there chicks from me in the spring. She gets 500. I plan on setting 700 eggs. Where would one source that many eggs in a reasonable time frame?

it would depend..

are they asking for particular breeds? if so is there a local source for those kinds?

If not do you have the space available to keep enough layer hens and roosters for the breeds they want?

Shipped eggs have such a varied hatch rate depending on flock health, age of eggs before they are shipped to you (and how they are stored) plus mishandling by the postal service that they would be unreliable for your use and probably cost prohibitive..

So you would need to find or create a local source to ensure the highest hatch rates possible..
