Where to get just 4 chicks?

Our farm store said they get chick shipments in on Wednesday. I was there at 2pm and she said they got in 200 chicks and by 2pm they were all sold because of the pandemic. go figure...🤪

Wow, seriously? I have heard of panic buying chicks right now, but really!

Leads me to my question....is there a minimum number of chicks that need to be in the brooder together to increase their survivability rate? What ive learned from reading/watching videos is that they learn how to eat/drink/keep warm from each other, and I'm not sure just three chicks alone would have enough group think for any of them to figure it out. Any advice?

I person all think 3 is fine. I think the main point is you need more than 1 because chickens are social.
