where to give an intromuscular shot?

Ok I'm getting ready to give an intromuscular shot and I want to know where the best place to give it is???

IM in a bird typically goes into the breast meat. What are you using and do you have the proper dosage? When you put the needle into the meat, slowly draw back to make sure you don't get blood. If nothing happens, you should be in a good spot.

im giving tylan 50 .5cc's and mom's a nurse she going to help so i should be good on execusion its just where to put it is my problem starting them on it tomarrow!

According to First State Vet instructions, Tylan 50 goes just under the skin in the back of the neck.
