Where to purchase walk in coop

Looking to upgrade to a walk in coop and run. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase one? Thanks!

Contact your local Amish or Mennonite community if you have one. If not find a yard bard dealer and convert.

A shed conversion perhaps.

Also do a search on your local craigslist. I know in my state when I search chicken coops it comes up with a guy's business that makes and sells really nice coops, better than most pre-fabs from the store, and the option to customize.

Unless you're willing to spend multiple thousands of dollars, no.

Buying or building a shed is your best bet...but even those can have downsides.

If you're going to have someone build a coop for you,
make darn sure you get the design right and that they follow it.

I don't know what country you are in so it is hard to get too specific. I don't know how big a coop you are talking about or your climate. So I will try to be generic.

You may be able to get a shed from a big box store or some other resource and convert it. You'll probably need to add roosts, nests, a pop door, a window, and ventilation. You will probably need to put in a foundation. You can assemble and modify it yourself or hire someone to do any or all of this.

You can look in the coop section under the "Articles" tab above and select a coop. Many come with building instructions. Or maybe get a book from a big box store or the local library on how to build a shed for a design and convert. Then you can build it yourself or hire someone to build it.

Many countries have an online thing, like Craigslist here in the States, that you can find used stuff, like a shed or coop. You will probably have to move it yourself or disassemble it and put it back together, but sometimes you can get lucky.

If you will put your location, maybe even editing your title to include that so you attract the attention of a neighbor, someone may be able to help with local knowledge. I'm not sure if you are allowed to edit your thread title or of you need to contact a moderator.
