My aunt lived beside a family that kept peafowl for decades. She want to purchase some, but the only place I can find is cackle hatchery. They ship live chicks and I’m a little weary of that. I have only incubated quail chick eggs, but Is that something you can do with peafowl?
Thanks!

I always try to check locally first, there are a few ways you can do this. Join your local chicken/poultry groups and ask there, check craigslist, and check eBay by adding the maximum distance in your search and try messaging those with hatching eggs to see if you can pick them up locally. Where I am the peacocks aren't laying yet but once they do I'm excited to incubate some again! So to answer your other question, yes! You can definitely incubate and hatch peachicks!

She’s going to ask her neighbor. But they’ve had peafowl for a long time. So I assume she could get some fertile eggs from them

I got 4 Peachicks from Cackle last year. They come from a Peafowl supplier. Although there are so many different kinds I only got 3 Black Shoulder and 1 India Blue. They were healthy strong little buggers. :D I also bought 6 eggs; 3 India Blue and 3 White from Mr.Peacock in Northern Iowa. Here's that link : http://www.peafowl.com/EggSale.html By they way where are you located?
