Where will my shipped chicks go?

I am expecting some chicks from Ideal next week and am wondering if they will come to my house or to the post office where I will have to pick them up? I have to make arrangements because I just realized I will not be home when they're due to arrive!

They will go to your post office and they should call you when they arrive. Make sure you give them a heads up of where to call to let you know they arrived and that they are coming.

Most people usually call the P.O. and let them know that they will have chicks arriving on such and such date. They then ask the P.O. to call them when they get there. That way they don't have to spend the day in the hot postal vehicle. I would call them and give them the number of whoever is going to be available to pick them up.
