Where would you be without BYC today?

I would have a dead roo buried in the backyard, and I wouldn't have gotten any more chickens.
This would have saved me quite a bit of money, time, and heartbreak.


But what I wouldn't have?
I wouldn't have some of the wonderful friends I have made here- and for that I am greatful that I found the help I needed here on BYC to save that stupid roo.

I wouldn't have 95 eggs in three bators in my family room without BYC.

I wouldn't have my kids doing meaningful chores every week.

I'd probably have more money in the bank.

I could go on and on.

I wandered onto this site when I was looking for ideas on coop designs. I suppose that if I had never found BYC then I would be spending more time in the library. I'm a research type of gal. Gotta find out everything I can about a particular subject I'm interested in.
And if it wasn't for me getting my chicks in the first place...I'd probably still be aimlessly wandering around the house without direction. These birds have made me "come alive" again. They were much needed "therapy."

Without BYC???? I think I would have been a renegade in my youth. But having this of extended network of friends I have gained more each and every day. Sharing stores and experiences, as well as everything else we have on our mind really is a fabulous thing. Everyone here on BYC is OHANA (Family) as we say that here in the Islands.
