Where'd the eggs go?

I have a flock of 5 hens that I picked up a few weeks ago. They are in Alan enclosed pen (mainly because I don't trust the dog). They had been giving us about 3 eggs a day and even once gave us 5! Recently, production has dropped. Yesterday, we only got 1:(.

Could this be a pen issue? The pen is about 8x10. Could it be a calcium issue in their feed? The bag says it contains about 4% calcium. Could the dog be bothering them and causing them not to lay? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

E

An Alan pen? Your pen sounds big enough, how large is your coop? Do you see the dog harassing the chickens?

Sometimes stress (think moving to a new home) can cause chickens to molt, and they dont lay when molting.

The Alan pen is thanks to my auto-correct. It's just a pen. The coop is about 4x12 built out of pallets. Sometimes the dog is over sniffing around the nesting boxes which are accessible from the outside.

I have 4 hens... 2 years old about now... they have given me 3-4 eggs a daily all through the winter, and suddenly, they are all quitting on me.. The Americauna is losing feathers, and I think she is moulting, but don't think the others are. Also, one is sleeping in the nest at night instead of perching.
The only other thing out of the ordinary is that I know a racoon or something is trying to get in the coop at night... reaching in and scooping out the food. I've reinforced the coop and it can't get in, but would that nighttime interruption be enough to get my ladies to stop laying eggs??
I miss my eggs!!
